The selection of the cryptographic curve for the project was primarily influenced by its weaker security profile, which paradoxically suited our needs for a proof of concept implementation better than other similar curves. This choice was made with an understanding of the available curve options and their comparative support levels.
Additionally, the proposition to use multiple canary addresses within the system remains favorable and has not been dismissed. It recognizes the potential benefits of such a strategy in enhancing security measures. Nevertheless, there are considerations regarding the division of rewards that need to be addressed. A significant concern is whether the bounty allocated to these canary addresses will be adequate to incentivize the triggering of a Comprehensive Risk and Quality Check (CRQC), particularly if the project does not attract sufficient interest or participation. This aspect requires careful evaluation to ensure the effectiveness of the reward system in meeting the project's security objectives.
