The peg-out process, as described in a recent paper, involves naming a specific vault during the burn phase to execute the transaction. If a subsequent burn attempt is made using the same named vault, it will be disregarded; the notes associated with the burn will remain intact, and the vault will stay closed. This mechanism ensures that only the exact denominations required for the vault can be used to peg-out, highlighting the precision needed in such transactions.

Additionally, there are alternative methods available for transactions that do not meet the strict denomination requirements of the vaults. One such method is utilizing atomic swaps, which allow for the exchange of different amounts. Atomic swaps offer flexibility and can be an effective solution when the exact denominations are not available for a traditional peg-out process. These options provide users with varied strategies for managing their transactions efficiently.
