Using AI tooling for code review

The utilization of openclaw in managing PR (Pull Request) reviews has significantly improved productivity and efficiency in handling open source projects. By setting up a dedicated agent for each project, there is a streamlined process for receiving alerts on PRs that require attention. This system not only notifies about the need for review but also prepares a detailed analysis of changes made since the last inspection. This preparation includes storing information on reviewed content and the latest commit hashes to provide intelligent updates with each scan.

Moreover, the integration of an automatic rebase function in the face of new conflicts has proven to be highly effective. The capability of the agent to accurately rebase, update the PR, and notify through comments that a rebase has been completed, enhances the maintenance and update process of code bases. There's a specific emphasis on ensuring that tests in conflict are not deleted during this rebasing process. Instead, there's a protocol to validate changes by building and running all relevant tests, reinforcing the importance of maintaining code integrity and functionality.

This approach, however, is described as a work in progress (WIP), indicating an ongoing optimization and refinement phase. The ambition is to streamline the AGENT.md, SOUL.md files, and cron job prompts further based on practical experiences and community feedback. The complexity of designing these files is acknowledged, with a nod towards treating it as more of an art than a science at this stage. The overall sentiment suggests a keen interest in learning from others' experiences with openclaw/codex automation, aiming to incorporate collective insights into future iterations. This collaborative and iterative approach underscores the potential of automation in enhancing project management practices within the realm of open source development.
