Mempool.bitmixlist.org - the community mempool.space node

Aug 25 - Aug 27, 2026

  • The current production mirror of mempool.space runs on version 3.3.1 and is primarily a branding update from the main site, retaining the same functionalities.

It incorporates mempool/electrs for operational needs. The hardware setup features dual Intel(R) Xeon(R) Gold 6262V processors, which slightly reduce memory bandwidth, complemented by 8x32 GB of DDR4 ECC RAM. Storage is managed through two 7.68TB NVMe SSDs in an LVM configuration, chosen for both performance and cost-effectiveness due to a notable discount on these drives. Network capabilities are enhanced with a 10 Gbps public Ethernet connection along with extensive Layer 3/4 DDoS protection. This infrastructure also hosts a dedicated Bitcoin node and an LND, although it currently does not have open channels.

For direct user access, the setup is available at mempool.bitmixlist.org. Additionally, secure and anonymous API connections are facilitated via an I2P URL. An Electrum server, crucial for handling transactions within the Bitcoin ecosystem, is operational and can be accessed at electrum.bitmixlist.org:50002:s. These resources collectively enhance the reliability and security of user interactions and transactions related to Bitcoin.

The addition of a status page or uptime history could further benefit users, especially those looking for reliable alternatives during downtimes of other services. Such enhancements would bolster its utility as a dependable long-term community service within the cryptocurrency space.
