The motivation behind this proposal is to address the issues of current autopaste functions, which can be annoying or not permissive enough if it replaces the possibility of manually entering a Bitcoin address. As end-users often copy-paste addresses, this BIP aims to facilitate the process. The proposal for the BIP can be found on Github and an implementation of it will soon follow in Wasabi Wallet.
